Why does the app require access to my location?

On Android devices you may be asked to grant permission to access your location when you try to set up a new device. Omlet does not collect, store or use your location as part of the App functionality. Android includes the location permission with the permission to access bluetooth devices, because certain types of bluetooth beacon devices can be used to determine your physical location.

You will need to grant permission in order to be able to discover and set up new devices, but you can disable the permission afterwards if you wish – the app will work fine with it disabled
